Nightly Builds

To assist with development, “nightly” builds are currently available. Please do not use these unless you are aware of the risks. They may break at any moment and functionality may appear and disappear at random. They are built after each “session” of coding I do, so may have more than 1 update a day, or no updates for a week or two.

To install a nightly build on a fresh install, you will need Ubuntu 14.04 or Debian 7 (or testing).

  1. Install the latest grase-repo package fromĀ
This will usually look like a wget followed by a dpkg command. Please adjust the below commands to reflect the latest version available at the above URL.

    dpkg -i grase-repo_1.6_all.deb
  2. Modify /etc/apt/sources.list.d/grasehotspot.list to appear as below
    deb purewhite main
  3. Update available packages
    apt-get update
  4. Install the hotspot packages
    apt-get install grase-www-portal grase-conf-freeradius grase-conf-openvpn

If you have any issues/bugs/feedback please post to the mailing list. Patches welcome on Github if you can fix things.
